First got JForum 2.0.2. Compiled (Windows XP, Java build 1.5.0_01-b08) and installed (hsql). Registeration gives error:

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: This function is not supported

Hm, try with the 1.4.x VM, please. I guess there are some minor issues with Java 5.
