Sorry for a repeat issue... but I've just downloaded and successfully installed JForum 2.0.2. I can login to the admin, but the images and style sheets are NOT working. I've read in another post about modifying the systemGlobals.properties - which I did. Still doesn't seem to be configured properly (it's displaying the correct site).

I am using a IIS 6.0 with Resin.

TX,
Mark

Hm, looks ok. It is the same string I have here in jforum.net. If you access the css via browser, it shows up? ( eg, http://host.com/forumContext/templates/default/style.css )

Have you tested without IIS, directly to Resin? Can you access http://localhost/jforum/templates/default/images/logo.jpg ?

NO, I am not able to access that URL.

I should point out that http://localhost:8080 is a directory listing (not the resin default homepage). Not sure if that helps at all.

I do appreciate your assistance with this as I am anxious to get it running.

What is URL to your jforum (directly and throught IIS? Do you have other webapps with working images? Have you checked IIS/Windows security settings?

Yes, I have other webapps with working images and stylesheets. I just added the JForum and have been pulling my hair out trying to get it setup.

Which settings within IIS would effect stylesheets or images from being displayed??

Check file/website permissions and directory paths. I have not used Resin but IIS/JK/Tomcat. This looks like IIS problem. Do you have images and stylesheets served throught IIS, Java-related pages throught Resin? Right click image, check properties (URL).

Take a look at logfiles. Is there not found or permission denided?
