How to add a new UBB code for media player ? I want to allow user post a link of media file ? Which file I should modify ?

Now, we can have a link with URL, like this http://www.my.com/1.asx. but we have to click this link. so this is not a good solutionl

See WEB-INF/config/bb_config.xml. Is there I put all jforum's bbcodes.

I did this

1. This coding is right ?
2. Then what is next step ? I need to add this to interface.
3. Do I need to change some jsp tag coding ?

This should do the work. You don't need extra steps. Now just make sure you restart the context and make a test. jforum's bbcode processor will try to match your regex aginst the text.

I test it , it has some bug.

If I add two media file UBB, one media file will be layered mistakenly on another one . How can I work out ?

Another question, I need to add a link into the interface, just like "B��? you see. Where to change this one ?

I made this test:

conteudo aa bla [media_file]http://www.video.wmv[/media_file]

aaa teste

[media_file]http://www.video.wmv[/media_file] xxx

bla bla bla

It worked for me. However, I didn't used the <td> tag, as it will break the layout. I suggest you to do the same (eg, just put the <embed> tag there, "alone").

To add the tag to the new post / reply form, edit the file templates/default/post_form.htm

After I remove the <td>, it still have same problme, for example, in the above coding, one media file will be layered mistakenly on another one.

Have you taken a test like above coding ? If yes, please tell me the test result. I am not sure my computer is working well now.
