Just now installed jforum and have some questions. Lets say I'm the modetor for the forum. I want to receive emails whenever a new user posts the in the forum and my email to that question should be posted in the forum directly. Basically, email integration with the forum. Is this possible with JForum?

No, it is not yet possible. JForum 2.1 will include initial support for moderation, but admistrators should check for new messages from time to time.
The integration with emails as you put is not supported by JForum.

Do you have plans to support email integration in the future. I guess that would be a good addition to jforum.

For now, the administrators have to click on each message and then reply to it? Also, if i feel a post or reply does not make sense, as an administrator how can I delete that particular post or reply?

Thanks
Kumar

Any user an use the link "Watch it!", present in the top of each message. Adminisstrators and Moderators may delete messages by clicking in the "X" link present in every message. In other words, when you're logged as admin, there are some options which show up that are not visible to regular users.

does it mean that I'll be able to merge (or split) a thread in one (or multiple) thread(s)??

Rafael,

Do you have any idea when split and merge functionality will be available?

Thanks

Henrique
