High memory usage in 2.1

Hi,

It seems that JForum has a very high memory usage (considering that it's using no middleware) IMHO.
I can't limit the usage with -Xmx cause in the production system(application server) will run other webapplications too.

Env: Suse Linux 9.1, jdk1.4.2_07, Tomcat 5.0.28, Mysql.

P.S. There are some very good profilers: YourKit, JProfiler, OptimizeIt. One approach would be that users take snapshots and send them to you (when you can't find the problem on your machine). We did this with YourKit and is very nice(but the snapshot files are huge).

Well, JForum does a *lot* of caching. What is "very high memory usage" to you?
