hello, I cannot see NEW MSG icons enar NEW TOPICS

Hello there,

if I post a new msg(as this one), I should see the "NEW MSG" icon near the NEW TOPIC just posted, but the icon near the msg is always the one of "No new messages". It happens in this forum as well as in the one I'm using for my LAN.
Do the new msg icons have another usage?

Sorry for the quiestion....
I solve the problem by myself....
I noticed that if you see the forum as an anonymous user, new msg icons are not shown. Otherwise if you log in as a known user, new msg icons are correctly shown.
