Just installed latest downloadable jforum on tomcat 4.1.30, jdk 1.4.2_04. (used hsqldb).

Everything seems fine, except when I click "Register" to create a user, I get an error page with this message:

An error has ocurred. For detailed stack trace, please see the page's source code.

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

In the logs I have:

Any clue what class is missing? or how to resolve the problem?

thx.

If I disable captha, then I can register.

However, if I try to upload an avatar on the edit profile page, I get the same exception (or one that looks very, much the same).

Open WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties and set the value of the key "captcha.registration" to "false". If this key is also into WEB-INF/config/jforum-custom.conf, change there as well.
