[EDIT: I hadn't realized that Tomcat replicated my /usr/local/JForum tree to $CATALINA_HOME/webapps/forum. I would have figured that Tomcat would see the context file and know where to look ops: ]

Is there some reason why changes to these template files would not be reflected in the online forum? I added a line beneath the default copyright tag and it does not appear. I have already stopped and started the forum application - I'm using Tomcat 5.5.9. I also cleared out all the cache options on the Admin Console.
Thanks!

Looks like you are editing the wrong files

Besides that, check if the value of web.xml's init-param key "debug" is set to "true". If it's set to "false", the files will not be reloaded soon.
