I logged in as admin, added a category and set it under "General" group. BUt, i could not access (see) this category from my admin page. How can I update/delete this category?

Yes, i have "allow all" under "restricted categories" for group "administration". That should be good enough, i guess. [originally posted on jforum.net by balakiran]
Yep. However, please note that this "allow all" is valid only for existing categories (or any other resource that has this option, of course). So, if tomorow you add a new Category, you still will have to set its access rights (aka, re-save the permissions, even if only clicking the Update / Save button).
