Hello
From an Action I would like to store an array in the session object and iterate over that array to populate the value attribute of a series of <td><html:text property="explicitNamed" value="${}"/></td>.

I assume I have to create the form bean from the array(when/how?) and then somehow iterate it over my table elements with jstl. Can someone advise me how to actually do it? tia.

You will need to use indexed properties for this. For more information on how to used indexed properties along with a working example, see question 6 of this forum's FAQ.
