I have read some old threads and found that JForum does not work on Tomcat 5.5 with mysql as backend but I went ahead anyway and Installed it with Tomcat 5.5 and mysql and surprisingly I have not seen a single issue yet. Everything is just working great.

Is this mean that JForum is comaptiable with Tomcat 5.5 (JDK 1.5) now and threads I came across were old.

Also if anyone can point me how to enable the HTML email right now the emails comes in plain text format. I have changed the configuration in the admin tool but for some reason the email remains text.

Thanks
Vik

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
