Hi,

When I post a comment with linefeeds in it (i.e. I hit enter) the resulting text has the linefeeds stripped out. Everything shows up on one line. I am using MySQL 4.1.x with UTF8 as the default encoding. I highly suspect it is related to the problem. Furthermore, I used a JNDI datasource for my connection, so I had no way of specifying that I am using utf-8 to JForum. Also I configured
"?characterEncoding=UTF-8" at the end of my database URL.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you,
Gili

Strange. I've jforum.net using UTF-8 and it works fine. It's hard to say the problem with so little information. If you think the encoding can be the problem, just try to change it and see what happens.
