Long list of categories and subcategories

I am trying to make a forum in which i need to use a long list of categories. Now this will not be easy for people to use. Is there a way in wich i can make like a categorie, and then a subcategorie and under that a forum?

does anybody have an other idea on how to do it?

JForum does not support nested categories and forums. One approach I can suggest you is to try to make some modifications to the html, in order to make it more "user friendly" when having a big ammount of data - for example, show the categorie table contracted and when the user clicks, it expands, showing its forums..

I'm in the same boat. A nested category wouldn't make much sense, but nested forums would be very helpful for logical groupings. Perhaps something for the TODO list?

Just do a search before adding a new entry.. I'm not sure, but maybe there is already an entry about nested forums.
