Hi,

Is there a way to get NTTP to jForum and jForum to NTTP (directly or as a workaround)?

This would be a very important feature since a lot of open source projects could than use jForum (since most of them are already are listed on GMane)

I saw that the commercial Jive forums have this NTTP feature (the IntelliJ forums are in this way configured and it's a very efficent and fast)
For security reasons not all the NTTP features are allowed to go to the forums, but what already works is just great .

Thank in advance,

Sammy.

I assume you mean NNTP, right?

I feel that this is backwards. JForum has RSS built into it. RSS is, I'd argue, a better protocol than NNTP. If you really need NNTP then there are RSS->NNTP converters out there. Google for nntp rss conversion for more information.
