Setup JForum with Oracle Step by Step Guide Needed

We have setup JForum with the default HSQLDB and now wish to change this to oracle.

We have added the oracle files from the CVS into a folder called [oracle]and included the jar file.

we tried editting the jforum-custom.conf with oracle propeties but got an invalid URL error...

we have now reverted back to using HSQLDB but can any body provide a complete guide on setting JForum 2.1.4 with Oracle 8i please? i.e. list provide the complete list of files we need or need to change.

The oracle files from the CVS are not complete functional. I do not recommend using them yet.

how about the support for using mysql? would u reccomend that?
