I having some trouble configuaring a moderator

I made a catagegory with forums uder it

I made 2 group one called Users and one called Moderators
I gave persion to the group for the user and the modertor

I add all the moderator stuff to the moderator group

made 2 users

post a message as a user on a moderated forum

login in as a user that is a meber of the moderators

but I can apparove the message

if I login as admin the control panel link is at the bottom then I can approve.

I must have not configured the moderator correctly but I can't seem to fin the problem

Can someone clue me on on how to set up a moderator proeprly that is not the admin?

Thanks

Joe

You did all right. The "problem" is, until jforum 2.1.4, you should in fact go to the admin panel do approve messages.

The incoming 2.1.5 version (which you can get from the CVS, if you know how to do it) allows moderators to approve messages as you want.
