I am attempting to locate the HSQLDB Database. I need to look at some configuration parameters, but I cannot find the physical location of the database file or engine.

Also where are the Oracle scripts?

For hsqldb, it is under WEB-INF/config/database/hsqldb.

Oracle files are available only in the CVS (and not 100% functional).
