First of all, I'm impressed with the bulleting board software you created. If I found this 2 years ago I'd have always considered it as the first choice.
One of the advantages is visual compatibility with phpBB. (I guess JForum is a complete rewrite of phpBB in
java.) So, migration should be easy for the forum members. Java is also inherently easy to make secure.
However, if one installs JForum, is it fully free? The subsilver theme for phpBB (which JForum seems to be based on) is copyrighted and licensed only for use with phpBB. How does JForum avoids this issue? Is it fully GPL'd or does it contain sonme copyrighted material?
