Hi, Rafael,

First of all, I'm impressed with the bulleting board software you created. If I found this 2 years ago I'd have always considered it as the first choice.

One of the advantages is visual compatibility with phpBB. (I guess JForum is a complete rewrite of phpBB in java.) So, migration should be easy for the forum members. Java is also inherently easy to make secure.

However, if one installs JForum, is it fully free? The subsilver theme for phpBB (which JForum seems to be based on) is copyrighted and licensed only for use with phpBB. How does JForum avoids this issue? Is it fully GPL'd or does it contain sonme copyrighted material?

Many thanks!

Sorry for a double post. I was confused by page loading times.

Please also see a quote from phpbb.com

The subSilver SDK is not released under the GPL and is not subject to that licence.

JForum is BSD, which is not compatible with GPL - or should I say, GPL is not compatible with any other license? ;) -, so theorically I should have put JForum under GPL too. Of course, this is not going to happen.

The HTML source as the following statement:

I received some emails from the PHPBB team regarding license issues, so that's why I put the credits there - I should have had put it since ever.
