version : JForum 2.1.5
In the first page , the total forum topics is 40, but only 30 topics are shown.
My topics per Page configure is 15.
When i delete one topic, then another "new" one appears, the total shown topics is unchangeable. But we can search the "missed" topics.

It may be a problem with the cache, yes. I have been working heavly in the last days, and still there are some issues.

I have seen this bug some days ago, but then I fixed some things and didn't see it anymore. When did you last updated your jforum installation from the cvs?

I too saw this error (v 2.1.4). No paging was showing at the bottom of the forum ... I bounced jforum, then click the modules "reload" button.

But just clicking the "reload" didn't do it in a repeat test.

I have this problem too.

Restarting the jforum app definitely fixes it, but when another forum goes past the topic count, the paging does not show again. You have to restart jforum to get it to appear.

Is this controlled by a particular file? If so, which one(s) do I need to pull from CVS? Or do I have to reinstall a new instance?

Thanks!

Your favorite DB .. MySQL!
v 3.23.56

I tried upgrading the /cache files from CVS, restarting jforum, adding 16 topics, and the paging still didn't work.

We have seen this on two different platforms .. both using different versions of MySQL, one running on Tomcat, the other on JBoss.

Disabling the cache seems to fix the problem.

I know we had the problem when moving topics from other forums and when creating new topics in newly created forums.

Running version 2.1.6 upgraded from 2.1.4 on tomcat 5.5.15 and mysql database 4.1
