Using HTML in JForum?

HI

is it possible to use "pure" HTML in a post?

E.g. I want to use a table so the information is better legible. Can I do this using <table><tr><td> ....</td>.... etc. ?

Is there any other possible way to structure text information in table form?

It's possible to use HTML. Just uncheck Disable HTML in this message box. I think there is no other support for tables.

Most HTML tags are disabled by default - tables in special may break all your forum's layout.

Take a look in the key "html.tags.welcome", from the file WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties - there are defined the allowed HTML tags.

Hmm, OK. I'll have to check to get the necessary rights on the tomcat dir (its the server of a friend).

If I cant use tables, are there any other possibilities to structure the data in a table like manner? Or do i have to try something like preformatting the text so it aligns "right"?
