Hi All,

Appreciate your help here!

Just installed 2.1.4. Things looks fine except that when the Recent Topic is clicked we get the following: All the other links seem to work fine. We're using the default DB. Let me know if you need more info

Thanks.

Hmmm, very strange. You are receiving a null pointer exception as the system attempts to read information about one of the forums.

Have you made any "custom" changes to your database at all? Have you modified anything "manually"?

I'm having the same issue. I've modified the path of the HSQLDB, so I can deploy the forum as a war file, and have the database files somewhere else. Everything works perfectly, only the Recent Topics link throws the above error.

Hi,

I installed the latest version on a headless (ie no X11) Sparc and had an issue that I solved by putting

JAVA_OPTS=?-Djava.awt.headless=true?

in catalina.sh. Now, whenever I hit 'Recent Topics' I too get this error. Pehaps they're related?
