I placed this question on jforum.dev.java.net but it does not seem to be used very much.

This is the first time I use Ant, so I need some advice.
I got the sources from CVS, and could do init but not compile.
I used the following commands:

set
classpath=D:\Borland\JBuilderX\lib\ant.jar;D:\Borland\JBuilderX\lib\jbuilder.jar;F:\JAVA142_05\lib\tools.jar;

F:/JAVA142_05/bin/java
-Dbuild.compiler=com.borland.jbuilder.ant.compiler.Bmj
org.apache.tools.ant.Main -buildfile build.xml -inputhandler
com.borland.jbuilder.build.AntBuildTask$AntInputHandler compile

Result:
---------------------------------
Buildfile: build.xml

compile:
[javac] Compiling 301 source files to
F:\cvs\bin\jforum\WEB-INF\classes

BUILD FAILED
file:F:/cvs/bin/jforum/build.xml:61:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/sun/tools/javac/v8/code/ClassWriter$ClassWriteCallback

Total time: 3 seconds
---------------------------------

I don't understand what ClassWriter$ClassWriteCallback is.
There's no such declaration in my Java installation, and not
a single hit by web searches.

I would not set all those environment variables, and just call "ant" from the command line

I did so because JBuilder did. But I switched to Apache Ant and could build right away.
