dear jforum team,

i've checked out and built/installed 2.1.5 using postgres. i've also enabled sso and implemented my own authenticateUser() - that was all easy (thanks ;)

problem now is I can't get new pm count to appear by using ${session.privateMessages} - it is always zero. the user table also shows zeros;

I'm no error messages in logs etc.

Anyone got any pointers to where i should be looking - I'm relatively new to j2ee so all help appreciated.

thanking you, -Mark.

You should do a different SELECT statement - JForum does not store the values in jforum_users for performance reasons.

Open WEB-INF/config/database/generic/generic_queries.sql and look for the query named "UserModel.selectById". You'll understand how to do it
