Hi

Is-it possible to grant the permission for a specific user to assign other users members to a specific group without give this user the right to access admin control panel ?

I hope you understand my question.

Thanks

Martin

No, currently JForum does not provide that kind of power.

If that were to be implemented, how, in your opion, it should look like?

Probably the best way to do this is via the group mechanism that already exists. Groups could be defined that would "control commands". Those in the group could execute any of the commands in the group. Then a "SubAdmin" control panel could be displayed for those in this group, and the command available in the menu would be defined by the group. Hope that made sense.

Hi

For simplicity, I Think if we can add a link on each forum (may be at the end of the Description). This link is visible only if you are a user/group admin for the group(s) that is associated with this forum. But I don't know if it's the best way because a group can be asociated with more than one forum and it may confused the users ??

Any other forum software has this feature, or a similar one? (probably some phpbb mod)
