I've searched a while for a forum which is on jsp base.

But I've found a big unsolved issue (or I couldn't find it)

How can I delete users?

I can only lock him

I want to push someone completly out of the database (except his posts if possible)

If this feature is not implemented yet, when will it be?

Indeed, currently you can only lock users.

If you really want to delete an user, you should remove it doing some sql queries in the database.

Wel'll try to put this feature in the next release

Uh - i wish i had read this first:

https://coderanch.com/t/574459

It's definitely not clever to delete any user manually...
It's messing up every public and private message originated from the deleted user...

But by the way - the current verision 2.1.5/2.1.6 is a great leap forward compared to 2.1.4. A lot of annoying Bugs disappeared and some very useful features were added. I'm really impressed. Very good work!

A bit bothering are still some HTML bugs (as for example reported by "Html Validator") and the huge content size - so i can't wait a gzip compression filter.
But that's just marginal - i know there is always more work to do than time for it 8)

Keep on the good work :-)

Agreed. We'll try to focus on this improvement for a future release.

Thank you so much. We worked hard on it and, although the very delayed, it went all good.

Per worked hard to make JForum's HTML 100% valid, but I rolled back some of his changes.
