We use JForum and have also installed it at many of our customers. Is JForum open to attacks like the one that happened to AMD and the PHP Forums? If so what is the the fix or the ETA of a fix.

There aren't any security bugs known in JForum. If you are able to use the latest cvs version (or even download 2.1.5-pre), you'll also have the latest bug fixes and performance improvements.
