Is it possible to turn off caching completely so that when you add something to the jforum_forums table it will show up immediately? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No, it is not. We will support it for JForum 3.0 (no release date yet)

Tried that. It doesn't work. As does not most of the crap that rafael left in the config files that doesn't work the way it should.
If there is a caching methodology, there should be a way to turn it off to make the forum more dynamic. Oh well. Thanks for the suggestion.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
