What is the difference between "Bookmark" and "Watch"? "Bookmark" is prominently displayed on the upper right of the topic, but "Watch" is shown at the bottom. Also, there is no way to find out the topics I am watching.

Bookmarks are your favorite topics, while Watching keeps you informed of new messages posted on some topic.

Ideally a bookmarked topic should automatically enter in your watch list, but it does not work this way currently.

If I watch a topic, do I get notified everytime a new post is added to the topic?

You're notified every time a new post is added IF you already read all messages. So, when you read a topic, a flag "is_read" is set for you user, and when a new message is sent, you're notified. In the meanwhile, if new messages are posted, but you didn't read the topic since the last notification, you won't receive new notifications until you read.

We do this to not spam you.

Think of how stupid the average person is. And how half of them are stupider than that. But who reads this tiny ad?
