OS: Windows XP
DB: MySQL
Server: JBoss 4.0

I got similar results. I have to reinstall every time I bounce the server. It tries to make me build a new forum each time, and going directly to the forums/list.page gets me the following 500 page:

Fixed it. The password was not getting saved in the config\database\mysql\mysql.properties file. I changed it in there, redeployed, and was all set.
