I retry it on my resin 2.1.6 on Windows XP and on tomcat 5.0.24 on Redhat Linux AS4, it goes fine.
It seems there maybe some misconfiguration on the server.
Now I try to use the former version 2.1.4 to replace this page , wish it works.
Any other suggestions,
thanks very much.

Try disabling captcha, in the file WEB-INF/config/SystemGlobals.properties / jforum-custom.conf

Search for "captcha" there and set all to "false"
