LOL .. I think you would need to be MUCH more specific as to what you are looking for.

And if it involves selling something on-line, I highly doubt that any forum system would be applicable.

No, I don't want to sell anything!!!
I'm just a student and I have a project to make. I'm not a good programmer(far from it) and I thought that maybe someone has an example of a simulation of a musicstore where you can buy CDs online, register. There is also an administrator who can change the database.
Something like that...

Wouldn't " ... a musicstore where you can buy CDs online ... " be selling something? I didn't necessarily mean that it was YOU personally selling something, but the application would have items for sale, right? Otherwise, it's not a musicSTORE. Make sense?

You might have better luck doing a Google search for "on-line store software" (or something similar) rather than asking about it on a site that deals with a FREE forum system.

It won't be salling anything because there will be no CDs to sell. There will only be a database with imaginary CDs and imaginary customers.

I just want to clear that I didn't intend to use the forum to get rich or something like that. I'm not looking for free software but for java code that I could use in an application like that.

Sounds like the imaginary customers would be imaginarily buying the imaginary CDs ...

My whole point was that a FORUM system isn't an on-line STORE application. So you should be looking at on-line store applications, not forum ones.

And from your statement of needing it for a project, I didn't think you were trying to start an on-line store to actually make money for yourself.

But good luck with your project! I'm sure there are lots of code samples on the Internet that will do what you're looking for!

JForum is not the right app to do the store.

Go to forums.java.sun.com or just google for online store java.
