There are some problems with running JForum 2.1.6 on MySQL 5.0. Will there
be a patch or a new version in the future?

This occurs (sometimes!) when I try to rate a message. In some MySQL Forum I read about those types of problems with MySQL 5.0.

I found it extremely hard to get Unicode data working with Java and MySQL 4.1+. It works very well until version 4.0.x.

We're still trying to figure out a way to fix it.
