Why do I have to keep logging in?

Even if I check the "Remember me" box when I log in, I need to log in again after I close my browser. Is there a configuration somewhere that is disabled? I'm using LDAP for authentication if that matters...

Auto login does not work with LDAP.

I don't know the impacts of enabling it. If you know Java, take a look at the class ControllerUtils.java, methods checkAutoLogin() and refreshSession().

Any help is valuable.
