First of all this is a great product. I'm trying to integrate jforum into my application which has it's own roles and management. When ever I try inserting/deleting from the jforum_role_values table in mysql v5.0.18 there is a lock on this table. When I don't start jforum on startup I'm able to insert and delete from this table until jforum is started.
Is there a way with or without(preferred) changing your code to release this connection to the table? [originally posted on jforum.net by javanut]
