I've seen comments in a couple posts in this forum about upcoming hibernate support. What is the status of this? Is it available in a branch or anything?

I may be interested in contributing to this effort.

I'm looking at embedding JForum for a community site we are building. We've done a similar thing with Jive but would prefer an open source alternate.

On another note, has anyone considered restructuring the build structure? Checking out the webapp root is a little awkward.

I also noticed that the war you get when you build from source is different from the distribution. How do you build the distribution?
