Just installed JForum 2.1.6. Everything seems to go fine during the installation wizard (tables are created in the database) but after installation, I get a 404 on .../jforum/forums/list.page when trying to access jforum.

Any idea on what could be causing that?

I am using Tomcat 5.5 on CentOs.

Tx,
~Fran̤ois

Update :
Tried the same thing on my windows laptop and it works.

Tomcat 5.5.16 have serious bugs, that prevent JForum of working correctly.

Downgrade or upgrade to 5.5.17 is necessary.

Another idea: when I had the same error, after I discovered that my JForum Tomcat's context was not setted up! Try it! ;)

Upgraded to 5.5.17. Now, I cannot even see the install page. I get a 404 on /jforum/install/install.page

Same problem on 5.5.16 on CentOS. Dumbly tried different things for about 7 times. Always a 404:

description The requested resource () is not available.

Also same happened when I first migrated this site from Wdinows hosting to CentOS Linux. I suspect some issue with Linux. Has anyone run JForum on Linux? What distro?
