Some features that I would like to see on Jforum, I have seen these on other comercial ones.

1) User status.

- While browsing a topic / forum it would be great to see a list of people that are reading that topic.

- While another member is replying to a topic have their name listed but with a broken line under to show this status.

( Could be implemented on a last click way... then why not add a page that lists users and last click... so you can find someone quickly.)

2) Editing.

-Once a user has edited a comment already posted an automatic text // sentence should say something like....

this post was last edited by 'user' at 'time/date'.

-If the post was edited by ME (the webmaster / moderator)
a line like...

this post was last edited by moderator 'name' at 'time/date'

i suppose as the code already exists to show who is online on the main page cutting and pasting it to forum/topic code could be quick to implement.

P.S. look at

http://www.globalhousepricecrash.com

Use a board called inversion... you can see the above points I made in action.
