Is there anyway to dynamically specify the templates to be used. The idea is to show different templates to different users.

Easier way: in the existing templates, do conditionals:



Of course that's an ugly and quick hack.

If you want something more elaborated, create your logic code and integrate to the Actions, located at net/jforum/views/forum

Humm, I don't agree, JForum isn't a phpbb clone, It use only some sort of skin used in phpbb (aka subsilver)

Some Forums, as PHPbb I think so, let the user choice not only the language, but the template style too.

Being JForum a Java clone of PHPbb, why don't we have this option here?

redhand is right, JForum is not a clone of PHPBB.

User specific style is planned for an age already, but it's not a critical feature (aka, not high priority)
