Problem registering user after installing 2.1.6

Hi I installed 2.1.6 onto GNU Linuz, running tomcat 5.0.27 with Java 1.4.2 is this a suitable configuration for Jforum 2.1.6 Im unable to find the minimum spec.

Everything seemed ok, and I can access the server from the web and chage configuration, but when I tried to register a new user I got the following error, and later on I got a classdef error (see further below) :

Ok, Ive found the link about headless-display and Ive made a change to the CATALINA-OPTS property this allows me to to get to the register page, but the image containing text that you have to type in as check is not displayed instead it justs says catacha unavailable, do I have to have java 1.5 ?

Did you really need capcha ? If no, just disable it in your conf file and enjoy 8)

Ok, I have disabled it and now it all works thanks.

But this is the first time Ive used jforum i suggest it would be better if captcha was disabled by default or provided a more suitable exception, I wonder how many peoople have tried jforum and just given up silently because of one of these issues.

I agree on the problem. I don't need Captcha, and I have the strange error as well. Disabling by default would be an improvement.
