Hi I installed 2.1.6 onto GNU Linuz, running tomcat 5.0.27 with Java 1.4.2 is this a suitable configuration for Jforum 2.1.6 Im unable to find the minimum spec.

Everything seemed ok, and I can access the server from the web and chage configuration, but when I tried to register a new user I got the following error, and later on I got a classdef error (see further below) :

Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

and stack trace

Did you really need capcha ? If no, just disable it in your conf file and enjoy 8)

Ok, I have disabled it and now it all works thanks.

But this is the first time Ive used jforum i suggest it would be better if captcha was disabled by default or provided a more suitable exception, I wonder how many peoople have tried jforum and just given up silently because of one of these issues.

I agree on the problem. I don't need Captcha, and I have the strange error as well. Disabling by default would be an improvement.
