Message count doesn't go up when post a new topic

When post a new topic, in the forum list page, only the post count goes up, but not the message count.

Once server is restarted, message count goes up.

Is this a known bug?

With JForum 2006-11-28, I still have caching problems with new messages.

When a new topic is posted, both topic and message counts work correctly, but when a topic is replied, sometimes message count goes up, sometimes it does not work until Tomcat is restart. If disable topic caching it works fine.
