Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to delete entire threads in Jforums, please? Where in the admin tool do you go to turn that functionality on?

Cheers,

Mark

Sure!

Enter the main forum which contains the thread you want to delete. Click on the "Open Moderator Options" on the right hand side of the screen (just above the "Last Message" column header). Then check the box next to the thread you want to remove, then click on the "Delete" button.

If you don't see the "Open Moderator Options" button, you haven't set permissions correctly.

Ah, right - so it's not that it doesn't exist - cheers.

Whereabouts in the permissions/configuration do you turn that function on?

Thanks,

Mark

In the Admin Console. Give the group you want to have these rights moderator permissions.
