i have updated to version 2.1.7.
but i have not version information.
thist is the error:
"Es konnte nicht ermittelt werden, ob es f�r Ihre Version von JForum Updates gibt. Bitte suchen Sie auf http://www.jforum.net/download.jsp nach m�glichen Updates."
please to help

hi-

See the tomcat catalina.out log file. There is a hard coded URL error:
java.io.FileNotFoundException
http://localhost:8080/jforum/latest_version.txt

You will get that error if you renamed your forum directory.

The code that gets that URL should not hard code the URL.
