How to delete the category of general type?

I created a category that the type is general. But i can't deleting it in control panel. why?

Go into the Admin Console, click on the "Category" menu item, then click in the select box (3rd column) next to the Category you want to delete, then click on "Delete Selected."

but when i click on the "Category" menu item ,i can't see the category type of general group.so i can't delete it . i can see only category type of Administration group.

The General group is not a Category.

Groups are used to provide access and permissions to the Categories and Forums.

What are you really trying to do, delete a Group, a Category, or something else?
