Hi ,
The Registered User total displayed on the 'Forum Index' page does not match the total number of Members in the 'Member Listing' page.
Also, sometimes on the 'Forum Index' page we get 'The newest registered user is Anonymous' .

Does anyone have any idea what is going on please?
Cheers,
Rav :?

I'm getting the same thing.

In UserAction, setLastRegisteredUser is called in registrationComplete, but should be called in insert. If for some reason, the user doesn't get to the complete page, or gets with it and has id 1 (for anonymous) in the session then 1 is stored in cache.

The same goes for the increment of the user count. If a user does not hit the registrationComplete page then it's not updated.

In any case, I think it's a bad idea to update the stats on the confirmation page and not in the code that inserts the user.
