Hmm, when doing it as an admin, I see a javascript dialog, but when creating another group and giving them the permission to delete posts, I don't. [originally posted on jforum.net by bcc]
Thanks for reporting this bug. It is fixed now. It happens when you add the "Can remove posts" role and the "Cannot moderate these forums" has the respective forum selected. To make the popup show up, just de-select the forum there.. it will solve the problem for now.
