Hi all. I want to use Orace DB for JForum. I searched some information in this forum and found that I have to do some changes for supporting the Oracle DB.

Should I do many changes for the required? Thanks

More detail information about the changes, please show me. Thanks so much.

Thanks for your reply.

I see. But I want to install it in these days. Could you answer me above question? Thanks

By the way, could you tell me when the 2.1.7 will be released?

Moreover, in this page:

http://www.jforum.net/confluence/display/INSTALL/manual_install

Is it means that Oracle is supported?

If I use the HSQLDB at present, when the 2.1.7 release, If I can change the DB to Oracle and export the data to new DB easily? Thanks

I installed Jforum 2.1.6 and I have oracle 10g installed in my machine.
and its work really fine.

you just need to create database and table...that you can find in config and oracle folder.

and follow installation guide.
