Hi Guys!

The file WEB-INF\config\SystemGlobals.properties by default has the following lines:

If the default language is another (like pt_BR for example), it's not enough to copy, paste and translate the files:
templates\mail\pt_BR\mailNewTopic.txt
and
templates\mail\pt_BR\summaryMessage.txt

I think should have a way to insert the following lines in the file WEB-INF\config\jforum-custom.conf:

The 2.1.6 engine doesn't do it! If the newer does, please just tell me.
I have to create these 2 lines manually to change. :?

To fix this "bug", I made the following steps:

1. Added the following lines to the file WEB-INF\config\languages\pt_BR.properties:

2. Added the following lines to the file templates\default\admin\config_list.htm:

If somebody wants (Rafael?), fix it!

Hi Leandro,

I think this is a good idea. But the problem is that we then need this translated for all the languages before it can be shipped in a release.

I'm thinking of doing a change to the system where we always do a fallback to english when a text in a translation is missing.

I also think that we should remove the translations from the distro, and introduce language packages like phpBB does.

Then it will be easier to maintain changes like this.

I'll see what I can come up with of ideas.
