I'm afraid that you cannot assign different colors to groups. The colors you see today is not based on different groups, but on settings inside each group (ref: Is Administrator, and Is Moderator).

Thanx lazee for the quick reply. Yupe I saw in the htm file that IsAdministrator and IsModerator are being used to set the colors.
If I a have an Active members group. Can I use something like IsActiveMember to set another color

I'm afraid that there is no way to get access to the groups where you want it to at the moment But I'm thinking about a new fascade model for Jforum 3 where a lot more information should be available to the templates all the time. But I haven't discussed this with the other developers yet.

I noticed that you can modify the .css files and change the color of the groups as they are listed as they are connected.

Then it wouldnt be hard to create a new class within the .css to specify what you are looking to do. If you are looking to have a differnt color for them as they post in the forums themselves you would have to tags and most likely the java code on the back end so that i knew it was an admin or a mod.
