Is someone working on the "split a thread" feature in 2.1.6 (or 7)?

When somone posts an unrelated question or starts an off-topic discussion within a thread, it's nice for the moderators to be able to move that post into its own new thread.

I agree that this would be a really nice feature. But I don't think it will get into 2.1.7 (We are to close to the release). But for version 3 it should be more than possible to get a feature like that. Please add an issue about this in our jira.
