Hi all.

I have installed jforum 2.1.6 in jboss server 4.0.5 on fedora core 5.

The problem that I had is:

I created all categories and all forums and all topics that I proposed to do. Before I created the groups and the users and the moderator users and the administration users.

But I forgot to create a moderate categorie and moderate forum into this. Well.
I created a categorie for moderation and one moderate forum. I included the moderation and administration group properly, and when a user created a request the moderation users cann't view this. But the administration users can to view in the administration control panel the request.

Soon after I thinked that when I created the moderation group there is a option where I choosed the forums that the moderation group can moderate, but then the new categorie wasn't create still.

So easily the solution is update manually the permissions to the moderation group. And save the changes although don't have changes because when I created the moderation group I selected the option allow all.

It must to be automatic no???

Sorry for my english but I will try get better

There were some problems with permission management on JForum 2.1.6, which where fixed on incoming version 2.1.7. Yours are included.
